Here's a top list of the 25 most cited journal articles on dengue
Dengue is a viral illness caused by a mosquito-borne virus. It is characterized by symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, joint and muscle pain, nausea, and rash. In severe cases, dengue can cause dengue hemorrhagic fever, which can be fatal. The disease is primarily found in tropical and subtropical regions and is most common in urban areas. The World Health Organization estimates that there are about 400 million dengue infections worldwide each year. The best way to prevent dengue is to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes, which can be done by using mosquito repellent, wearing long-sleeved clothing, and sleeping under mosquito nets.
